Well done Room 3 and Room 14 on a super term of  Buddy Class fun.  Great assembly presentation.

Masked Characters!

What a great day it has been today.  Cinderella's Ball was lots of fun, it was great to see so many of the children dressed as fairytale characters as they showed off their awesome folkdancing skills.

Thanks to all the parents who came along and enjoyed the event with us.

We finished off our day doing some great WHO AM I? fairytale character writing as well as some Princess and the Pea art work.  Stop by our classroom to check these things out.

Once upon a time Jack climbed a beanstalk.  Jack had no food.  The house had ripped curtains.  He stole lots of things.  There was a giant up up on the beanstalk.  Jack is a naughty boy.  The giant chased Jack.  Jack chopped down the beanstalk.  The giant died.                         Lachlan

Once upon a time there was a girl called Cinderella.  She got to go to the ball.  She had fun.  She met a prince.  She liked him and then she lost her slipper.  The prince found her slipper and found her.  They loved each other.  They lived happily ever after.                                       Sophie

A long time ago Jack lived in a house.  It was very poor.  Jack climbed the beanstalk.  Jack saw the giant.  Jack stole the money and the hen and the harp.  The giant chased Jack.  Jack chopped down the beanstalk.  The giant died.                                                                        Benjamin

Rapunzel went to the castle and the beast saw her.  He looked like a monster.  Rapunzel killed the beast with a sword and the beast died.  They lived happily ever after.               Kudzanai

One time long ago there was a girl called Little Red Ridinghood.  She went to her Nana's house.  The wolf ate Little Red Ridinghood and her Dad saved her.  They lived happily ever after.      Eddie

Little Red Ridinghood went into the forest.  The wolf was following her.  She went to Grandma's house.  The wolf got there first.  The Wolf ate Little Red Ridinghood.  Her Dad cut the wolf open and he found Little Red Ridinghood and they lived happily ever after.                          Ethan

Once upon a time there was a girl called Snow White.  She went into the forest.  Snow White went into the forest and she lived with the dwarfs.  The witch was trying to kill Snow White and the prince came and kissed Snow White and they lived happily ever after.                                 Maddison

One time long ago there was a girl called Little Red Ridinghood.  She had black hair.  Little Red Ridinghood went to Grandma's house.  On the way she met a mean camel.  The mean camel chased her.  Super Grandma saved her and they lived happily ever after.     Trinisha, Meki, Daniella, Jeremy, Georgie, Katherine and Miss Gargan

Not long ago there was a girl and she had no fun!  Cinderella was her name.  The Stepmother's castle was dumb and it was dumb because it had no colour.  Cinderella's fairy godmother gave Cinderella all the things she needed and a beautiful dress.  She went to the ball.  Cinderella went to the ball and she ran away at midnight and she lost her slipper.  When men came after the step sisters tried on the slipper.  Cinderella tried to put on the slipper.  The Stepmother wacked her stick and he fell over and the slipper broke.  Then Cinderella took the slipper in her pocket and she put that slipper on and then the prince fell in love.                                                                                         Sam

In a land far far away there was a Gingerbread Man and he looked pretty yummy and looked cool.  He ran in the forest.  The cow, horse and fox chased the Gingerbread Man and they chased him down the forest.  They crossed the river.  The fox tricked the Gingerbread Man.  He wanted to eat him.  The fox looked fat and he lived happily ever after.                                        Ezra

Once upon a time there was a boy called Jack and when he woke up he was happy because he saw a beanstalk.  He climbed up the beanstalk.  Jack climbed the beanstalk and there was an old lady.  She let him come in and he went in the cupboard and stole the gold money and the gold eggs and the harp.  Jack climbed down the beanstalk.  Jack used an axe and the giant was dead and Jack was happy.           J.J.

There once was a big boy called the Gingerbread Man.  He runs into the forest.  The Gingerbread Man met a cow, a horse, and a fox.  He said "run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me I'm the Gingerbread Man."   The Gingerbread Man came to a river.  The fox took him over the river and ate him and they didn't live happily ever after!                    Brooke


It was a dark dark night and a poor boy was looking for food.  He was called Jack.  He was looking for food in the forest.  He found food and he also stole food from the giant.  Jack climbed down the beanstalk and cut it down.  The giant was dead and Jack was happy.             Baily

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Rapunzel.  She was pretty.  The prince he was beautiful and the castle was plain.  It was poor.  Rapunzel got put in a castle and she was lonely and the witch put her up in the castle.  Rapunzel and the prince saw a key and they opened the door and they ran out the door that was open.  They lived happily ever after.                           Tui
